What size of hand baggage can I bring on board on my flight?

KLM allows passengers to bring one piece of hand baggage with dimensions of up to 55 x 35 x 25 cm, including handles and wheels. You can also carry a personal item, such as a handbag or laptop bag, with maximum dimensions of 40 x 30 x 15 cm. The combined weight of both items must not exceed 12 kg. These allowances ensure you can bring your essentials on board while keeping the cabin comfortable for all passengers. Check your ticket for specific conditions, as allowances may vary depending on your travel class or destination.

Can I choose my seat in advance?

Yes, KLM allows you to select your seat in advance to ensure a comfortable journey. Whether you prefer a seat with extra legroom, a spot at the front of the cabin, or a window view, you can choose your preferred location during the booking process or later via the "Manage My Booking" section on the KLM website or app. Depending on your ticket type, seat selection may be complimentary or available for an additional fee.
